Orthodontic treatment is carried out using dental braces, brackets, and various orthopedic appliances. In treatments starting during childhood and adolescence, growth potential is evaluated to ensure proper development of the jawbones. However, orthodontic treatment can also be applied to adults. In addition to providing a functional biting and chewing alignment, it holds great importance for facial aesthetics and smile design. Although this process can be long-term, orthodontics contributes to the long-term protection of dental health.
