Prosthodontics includes fixed and removable dentures, implant-supported prostheses, and aesthetic prosthetic applications performed to replace missing teeth. Tooth loss can cause serious problems both aesthetically and functionally; this situation may lead to impaired chewing function, speech difficulties, and facial aesthetic deformations. Prosthodontic treatment aims to enhance the patient's quality of life by providing results closest to the natural tooth structure and function. While fixed prostheses (crowns and bridges) are made to restore missing teeth, removable prostheses (removable dentures) are preferred for more extensive tooth losses. Implant-supported prostheses, on the other hand, offer the patient a fixed and aesthetic solution, providing a natural tooth appearance and function.
