The Prosthetic Laboratory is a unit where custom dental prostheses, restorative, and orthodontic appliances are manufactured and repaired for patients with tooth loss and aesthetic concerns. Working in coordination with dentists, this laboratory combines advanced technologies and precise craftsmanship to ensure patients achieve optimal functional and aesthetic results.
Duties of the Prosthetic Laboratory
✅ Patient-Specific Prosthesis Design and Production
Complete or partial dentures, crown-bridge restorations, and implant-supported prostheses are prepared based on impressions taken from the patient's mouth.
✅ Production of Fixed Prostheses (Crowns and Bridges)
Porcelain, zirconium, and metal-supported crowns, bridges, and veneers are manufactured in accordance with the treatment plan determined by dentists.
✅ Preparation and Repair of Removable Dentures
Complete and partial dentures are designed to restore patients' chewing and speech functions, and repairs are carried out when necessary.
✅ Production of Orthodontic Appliances
Retention plates and removable appliances are prepared for patients undergoing orthodontic treatment, providing support to orthodontists' treatment processes.
✅ CAD/CAM Digital Prosthesis Design
Precise and aesthetic prostheses are created using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) technologies.
✅ Production of Implant-Supported Prostheses
Porcelain or zirconium-supported prostheses suitable for implant applications are prepared.
✅ Prosthesis Fit and Quality Control
The fit of prepared prostheses in the patient's mouth is checked, and necessary adjustments are made.
✅ Material Selection and Development
In collaboration with dentists, durable, aesthetic, and biocompatible materials are selected and used.
