The Security Unit operates to maintain the security of our hospital, ensuring that patients and staff receive and deliver services in a peaceful environment. On duty 24/7, our security personnel carry out efforts to maintain order in the internal and external areas of our hospital, prevent potential security risks, and respond to emergency situations.
Duties of the Security Unit
✅ Hospital Entrance and Exit Controls
Ensures controlled entry for patients, visitors, and personnel entering the hospital. Protects hospital order by preventing the entry of unauthorized persons.
✅ Ensuring Safety of Patients, Visitors, and Staff
Takes security measures to ensure the safety of patients, patient relatives, healthcare workers, and other staff present in our hospital. Intervenes as necessary during emergency situations to prevent incidents from escalating.
✅ Emergency and Crisis Management
Provides rapid and effective intervention in situations such as fires, natural disasters, suspicious packages, theft, attacks, or other security threats. Implements emergency plans and notifies relevant authorities.
✅ Monitoring Camera and Security Systems
Ensures continuous monitoring of security cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment throughout the hospital. Detects suspicious situations and reports them to the appropriate authorities.
✅ Enforcement of Patient and Visitor Rules
Ensures the implementation of visiting hours, companion rules, and internal hospital regulations to protect patient privacy and peace. Issues necessary warnings to individuals who fail to comply with regulations.
✅ Incident Records and Reporting
Records security-related incidents occurring in the hospital and reports them to the relevant authorities. Makes recommendations to management regarding the enhancement of security measures to mitigate potential risks.
✅ Providing Escort and Support in Special Cases
Assists disabled, elderly, or special care patients in moving safely within the hospital. Provides support in situations that threaten the safety of hospital management or healthcare workers.
The Security Unit works with great diligence to maintain an atmosphere of peace and safety in our hospital. By keeping patient and employee safety at the highest level, it contributes to the uninterrupted and secure delivery of healthcare services.
