Application Areas of Restorative Dentistry

Trauma-Related Tooth Fractures
Enamel and dentin fractures occurring as a result of dental trauma can be aesthetically and functionally treated with restorative approaches. Healthy tooth tissue is preserved during treatment, and the procedure is concluded with minimal tooth reduction. Restorations performed especially in the anterior region positively affect the patient's psychosocial state.

Wear and Erosion Lesions
Tooth wear caused by bruxism, acidic diet, or gastroesophageal reflux is one of the important application areas of restorative dentistry. In these cases, both protective and rehabilitative restorations are applied.

Aesthetic Restorations
Aesthetic expectations such as closing gaps between teeth, correcting color and shape irregularities are evaluated within the scope of restorative dentistry. Composite resin restorations are frequently preferred in this field.
